Counselling Services

At House Family Therapy, I provide specialised, evidence-based counselling for individuals seeking support, healing and meaningful change. With over 20 years of professional counselling experience and advanced postgraduate training – including a PhD from Flinders University. I offer a safe, confidential, and client-centred space for people navigating complex and often deeply personal challenges.

My practice is grounded in compassion, respect, and therapeutic approaches proven to support recovery, resilience and personal growth.

Areas of Specialisation

Narcissistic Abuse, Coercive Control & Toxic Relationship Recovery

As a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC) trained under Dr Ramani Durvasula, I specialise in supporting individuals who have experienced narcissistic abuse, gaslighting, coercive control, and relationship-based trauma.
I help clients understand the cycle of abuse, rebuild their sense of identity and self-worth, and develop clear strategies for boundaries, safety and emotional recovery.

Domestic, Family & Sexual Violence Counselling

With extensive experience in crisis and therapeutic work within domestic and family violence contexts, I provide trauma-informed support for people affected by DFV and sexual violence. Clients are supported at all stages – crisis, recovery, rebuilding and empowerment -while always maintaining a focus on safety, validation and autonomy.

Eating Disorders & Body Image Concerns

I hold advanced training in evidence-based eating disorder treatments including:

  • Family Based Therapy (Maudsley Model)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Eating Disorders (CBT-E)
  • Schema Therapy for Eating Disorders
  • Motivational Interviewing for Eating Disorders
